Narendra Modi is all set to face the Bengal industry honchos at a special session today. The organisers said around 800 representatives from the business community would attend the meet. Modi is widely touted as the Bharatiya Janata Party's likely prime ministerial candidate for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. The event has been organised jointly by MCC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Indian Chamber of Commerce and Bharat Chamber of Commerce at a plush five-star hotel of the city. The high-profile BJP leader was expected to share his strategy and ideas on initiating a 'Vibrant Growth Model'. Meanwhile the BJP's Bengal wing has slammed the Mamata Banerjee govt for playing spoilsport. The party had planned a civic reception for the Gujarat Chief Minister planned at the Netaji Indoor stadium in Kolkata during his visit.
