NewsX: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi who failed to save more than 1000 people during Gujarat riots is now trying to save those who are convicted in the Naroda Patiya massacre.<br /><br />The Gujarat Government has put on hold the Special Investigation Team's plea to punish by hanging former BJP minister Maya Kodnani Bajrang Dal leader Bajrangi and 8 others convicted in the massacre, by referring the plea to the Advocate General.<br /><br />The trial court had convicted the 10 accused for their role in the Naroda Patiya massacre.and sentenced them to life.
