NewsX: Death of a 12-year-old girl sparks wide-spread protest in Ferozabad. The child went missing and later her body was found. Police have not ruled out rape.<br /><br />Hundreds of residents took to the streets and engaged in heavy stone pelting. They brought the entire traffic movement to a halt for several hours yesterday afternoon. <br /><br />The agitated crowd were chased away by the police to clear the national highway affecting the busy Kanpur-Delhi railway route.<br /><br />They forcibly stopping the Lucknow-bound Gomati Express near Ferozabad railway station.The entire railway traffic movement was paralysed for more than two hours and could be only restored after the cops caned the protesters. The Gomati Express reportedly also left for Lucknow.
