After a relatively dry spell, the city can look forward to at least a week of rain from Friday. The Met department has <br /><br />predicted fairly widespread rainfall over northwest and east India in the coming days due to a cyclonic circulation that <br /><br />has formed over the Bay of Bengal.<br /><br />"A long spell of rain, lasting for a week to 10 days, is expected over northwest and east India. While this does not mean <br /><br />that it will definitely rain on all days, more regular and intense rainfall over a large area can be expected.
