NewsX: Amidst growing tension in the Ladakh region over continuous provocation by the dragon. India and China officials are meeting for joint secretary level talks today. India is expected to send a stern message to China over the recent spate of incursions along the line of actual control.<br /><br />Meanwhile, China is pushing for freezing troop deployment on the border and pre-notification of patrols as part of a proposed Border Defence Mechanism Agreement.
