NewsX: In Karnataka too the state government and opposition are at loggerheads over the treatment meted out to a state administrative service officer. The Karnataka BJP alleges that the Congress government in the state has kept a senior Karnataka Administrative Service officer's promotion and posting in abeyance for over a month.<br /><br />Ateeq Ahmed was a member secretary of the Minorities Commission. The commission had recently submitted a report of major encroachments of Wakf land properties by top Muslim leaders.
