At least three workers were killed and 30 others injured in an explosion at a chemical factory in Dombivili on Thursday. The injured were rushed to the nearby hospital. The blast occurred in a boiler of the chemical factory, following which a fire broke out. Eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire. The blast sent shock waves up to 3-4 kilometres, damaging six other buildings. The mobile services were also disrupted.
