Bandh called by Congress in Gujarat so far has been partial, with six people detained from Ahmedabad and Bharuch.<br /><br />The bandh comes in the state as the main opposition party has called for the resignation of Narendra Modi in the wake of the explosive letter written by suspended IPS officer D G Vanzara<br /><br />Meanwhile, the bandh call by the Congress has prompted the State Government to beef up security.
