Situation remains tensed in UP's muzaffarnagar district after 9 people were killed and 34 injured in clashes. Among those killed was a TV journalist named Rajesh Verma and Israr a photographer hired by the police.<br /><br />Indefinite curfew has been imposed in the riot-hit areas and army has been called in as a precautionary measure and situation is not out of control.
