Hours after Italy was rocked by a major earthquake of 6.1 on the Richter scale on Wednesday morning, an earthquake measuring 6.8 struck Myanmar. Tremors were also felt in Bengal, Bihar and Assam in India.<br /> <br />According to reports, the quake's epicenter was 143 km west of the city Meiktila at a depth of 58 km.
