The search for the 'Tainted' UP Minister Gayatri Prajapati continues to be a mystery after he went missing when the police came to look for him at his Lucknow residence on Tuesday.<br /><br />A massive manhunt has been issued with the UP Police recording statements of his servants and raiding Prajapati’s houses in Lucknow and Amethi.<br /><br />Acting as per Supreme Court directives, Uttar Pradesh police filed a FIR against Gayatri Prajapati for allegedly gangraping a 35-year-old woman from Chitrakoot.<br /><br />The apex court directed the police to book the minister, who is a senior leader in Samajwadi Party and considered a close confidant to Mulayam Singh Yadav.<br /><br />The rape victim has alleged that she was gang-raped by Prajapati and his men by luring her of a position within the party. Prajapati meanwhile has refuted all the allegations as a political conspiracy.
