Tonight with Deepak Chaurasia: Aseemanand acquitted in the 2007 Ajmer dargah blast case

A special NIA court on Wednesday acquitted Swami Aseemanand and five others in the the 2007 Ajmer Dargah blast case while convicting three of the accused.<br /><br />The three found guilty by NIA court are Sunil Joshi (who is already dead), Bhavesh and Devendra Gupta.<br /><br />In October 11, 2007, three persons were killed and around 15 others injured when a bomb exploded at around 6:15PM inside the premises of dargah of Sufi Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti.<br /><br />Aseemanand was accused of masterminding the attack by the NIA and had charges against him and six others for murder and communal hatred.<br /><br />Aseemanand is also the prime accused in the 2007 Samjhauta blast case.
