Jyothi Uday, a bank manager, was about to withdraw money when a man entered, pulled out what looked like a pistol and asked her to withdraw cash.<br /><br />Attacks against women have sparked nationwide protests in India and forced the authorities to introduce tougher laws for crimes against women.<br /><br />"She was unconscious when police arrived.
