NCP-JDU confirms support for BJP and 2 Congress MLAs voted for BJP. Gujarat Rajya Sabha elections voting started for 9 seats. 3 seats are for Gujarat while 6 are for Bengal for the Rajya Sabha elections which are taking place today. Amit Shah and Smriti Irani are the nominees from Gujarat Congress. Ahmed Patel, nominee from BJP said that he believes he can win the elections in Gujarat Rajya Sabha polls. Shankersinh Vaghela did not vote for Ahmed Patel.
