Narendra Modi speaks at the meet in Delhi. <br /><br />Here are the highlights:<br />Since two days, we have discussed in detail the condition of the country and BJP's political programmes.<br />There have been many elections since independence but the 2014 elections is different from every side.<br />The condition of India is worse than ever before.<br />The corruption that is rampant now, has not been seen before.<br />This is not an election to change the government, but it is an election of hope and change.<br />the 2014 election is the election to bring India to the same summit that Vajpayee ji had brought us to before.<br />They are trying to save the party and we are trying to save the country.<br />This is the difference in the 2014 elections.<br />Congress representatives across the country came to Delhi with hope. They were told that the Congress PM candidate will be disclosed. <br />Congress workers came for a PM, went home with 3 cylinders instead.<br />Loktantrik example was cited for not nominating PM candidate. Is it true?<br />Noone chose Manmohan Singh as PM, they chose Sonia Gandhi but Ms Gandhi nominated Dr Singh. <br />There can be many reasons to run from elections for MS Gandhi, I see political reasons but i see one more reason.<br />When failure is so clear, will a mother sacrifice her own son?<br />Nowadays, there is a lot of hospitality of tea vendors in the country.<br />Their reason for running away from elections can be one more, the way of life that they lead, it influences their decisions.<br />They consider it a question of shame to fight against a tea vendor.<br />Woh naamdaar hain aur main kaamdaar hoon.<br />A man who used to sell tea and whose mother used to clean people's utensils, how will they fight against a person like that.<br />On October 27, in the midst of bomb explosions, the people who stood there - reminds me of what inspired martyrs to sacrifice themselves for India's independence.<br />People had sacrificed their lives for independence, now they're clamouring for good governance.<br />That is the reason why hundreds are joining the BJP, approach us seeking to work for us.<br />Lakhs of people who have no ties with the BJP are concerned with the party.<br />It is our belief, that every part of India should progress equally.<br />We have heard a lot about concern for poor and progress.<br />What was wrong in our policies that there is progress taking place in west India but entire east is in disarray.<br />The western part of the country is moving towards the path of development.<br />If the country has to become stronger, then regional aspirations should not be thought of as a roadbloack.<br />Regional aspirations can become an opportunity to progress rather than a hindrance.<br />We are a federal nation and it cannot be just adhered to as something constitutional.<br />We need to respect it in letter and spirit.<br />As a CM, I completely understand the importance of the federal strength of the nation.<br />All the chief ministers and the prime minister should move together to make the nation stronger.<br />If we can do this, we can help our nation top progress further.<br />There is bad governance in certain areas in the country, We need to focus on good governance.<br />Good governance is for the poor and not the rich.<br />If there is bad governance, a poor man's son will not get education.<br />We need to decide that whether we should believe in a tape recorders voice or the track record?<br />We don't want 'bills', we need political will.
