Mumbai police commissioner Satyapal Singh has resigned from his post, amid speculations of him entering electoral politics. Singh, a Maharashtra cadre IPS officer of the 1980 batch, was due to retire in 2015.<br /><br />"I have sent my resignation, now the government will take a decision.
