Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is all set to be conferred with country's highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna, here on Tuesday. Tendulkar, who played a world record 200 Test matches for India, bid a tearful goodbye to cricket in November 2013 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, shortly after which, the Government of India announced Bharat Ratna for him. <br /> <br />President Pranab Mukherjee will confer the award on the legendary cricketer, who becomes the first sportsperson in the nation to get the coveted honour.<br /> <br />Tendulkar, 40, was chosen for the award along with eminent scientist Prof CNR Rao.
