Decks have been cleared for Chandrababu Naidu to return to the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) after a 10-year gap.<br /><br />Naidu, whose Telugu Desam Party (TDP) gave outside support to the Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led NDA government, wants to be on the right side of Narendra Modi as the BJP makes a desperate bid to return to power after warming Opposition benches for two terms.<br /><br />After Ram Vilas Paswan, Naidu will be the second former NDA ally to make up with the BJP.<br /><br />Naidu, who blamed the BJP for his loss in the 2004 elections, has to win the 2014 elections to stay politically relevant.
