Defence minister Arun Jaitley on Sunday began a security review meeting with Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah and chief of the army staff, General Bikram Singh.<br />Before the meeting started, CM Abdullah had appreciated Jaitley for choosing to visit the regions of the state.<br />Abdullah had said, "We do hope that your visit will be one that we will all benefit from." <br />Omar Abdullah also stated "There were some areas where Jaitley's role as a finance minister will be very beneficial to the forces operating here."<br />He said, "We have added advantage that you come wearing two hats, and therefore please excuse us if sometimes we stray from briefing you or talking to you as a fefence minister and steer towards your finance minister responsibility as well."<br />The visit comes just two days after the ceasefire violations were reported along the Line of Control (LOC) from the Pakistan side. <br /><br /><br />For More information on this news visit : http://www.newsx.com/<br />Connect with us on Social platform at : http://www.facebook.com/newsxonline<br />Subscribe to our YouTube Channel : http://www.youtube.com/newsxlive
