Pakistan has violated ceasefire eleven times in past ten days. The latest one was a major provocative act which lasted throughout last night and entailed exchange of heavy mortar firing at 20 border outposts and civilian areas along the International Border in the Jammu sector. <br /><br />Pakistan High Commissioner in India Abdul Basit has invited Kashmiri separatist leaders for "consultations", a word normally used by superiors for stock-taking with subordinates, a rather apt description in the Pakistan-Hurriyat Conference sub-text. The "consultations" are due for Monday evening and Tuesday.
