Jnanpith awardee and renowned Kannada writer UR Ananthamurthy, who was undergoing treatment on multi-support system, died in Bangalore on Friday.<br />He was 81 years old.<br />Ananthamurthy was put on a ventilator early on Friday after he had trouble breathing and his BP suddenly plummeted.
