Battlelines were drawn in the Congress Tuesday with several young leaders — considered close to Rahul Gandhi — coming together and deciding to raise their voice against the “public attack” on the Congress vice-president by a section of the senior leadership.<br /><br />They feel there is an orchestrated attempt by a section of the old guard to stymie Rahul’s organisational reform process after the crushing electoral defeat.<br /><br />The young guns have been upset with the public criticism of the Congress president Sonia Gandhi by some leaders and silence of seniors when Congress vice-president comes under attack from within and outside.
