Heavy rain disrupted normal life in the city today. Several roads were flooded with water, leading to traffic jams. <br /><br />The water level in the Tawi and Chenab also increased, forcing the Flood Control Department to monitor the situation.<br />The flooding of roads, overflowing drains and continuous heavy rain throughout the day has made it difficult for the people of the city to continue their routine work.<br /><br />The Tawi has reached it danger mark of 18 feet, while the Chenab has crossed its danger mark of 35 feet as it was flowing 5 feet above the danger mark.<br /><br />The district administration is vigilantly monitoring the situation in and around the city.
