Shiv Sena demands removal of secular and socialist from preamble to Constitution

Shiv Sena, one of chief alliances of the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Wednesday demanded retaining the mistake of omission of two key words – “secular” and “socialist” – from the preamble to the Indian Constitution.

Though the government defended the act as it invited sharp criticism from several parties on Tuesday over a Republic Day advertisement, senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said, “If publishing old preamble is by mistake then it should occur regularly. India is never a secular country. It is a Hindu rashtra.”

For More information on this news visit : http://www.newsx.com/
Connect with us on Social platform at : http://www.facebook.com/newsxonline
Subscribe to our YouTube Channel : http://www.youtube.com/newsxlive
