The MCA and MIC top leadership are meeting in three days' time in the run up to Barisan Nasional supreme council meeting, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.<br /><br />The MCA president said MCA, MIC and Umno would subsequently meet to decide on the fate of Barisan which they founded together and gained independence for the nation in 1957.<br /><br />The MCA delegates had at its annual general assembly last Dec 2 passed a resolution to push for the dissolution of Barisan and to forge a new alliance.<br /><br />Dr Wee said that in response to a reporter’s question, after MCA’s 70th anniversary celebration at the party’s headquarters on Saturday.
