A drowning dog had to be rescued after falling into a reservoir. <br /><br />The hapless mutt slipped down the slippery plastic-sheet covering the banks of the pool.<br /><br />It plunged into the water - causing the other dogs to raise the alarm by barking. <br /><br />Residents noticed the creature struggling and called the emergency services. By the time they arrived, the dog had paddled over to the middle of the deep reservoir.<br /><br />Footage shows how one rescue worker had to don a bright orange life jacket while swimming over. <br /><br />They then grabbed the exhausted dog and hauled him to safety on the shore of the reservoir in Chonburi, Thailand, on February 6, 2019.
