Seoul City is increasing the number of carriages on its trains on subway line nine.<br />The local government on Monday added two more compartments to its 25 all-stop trains, bringing their total number of carriages to six.<br />They are also increasing the number of trains in operation from the current 37 to 40 trains.<br />Line nine has been dubbed the 'hell train' due to its high levels of congestion, but the local government says the extra carriages will lower congestion to one hundred-and-15 percent, down six percent, or about 10 people per carriage, from the current levels. <br />
