A bear fell into a well in a village in eastern India on March 3, while looking for food. <br /><br />The incident took place in Bedhasahi village near Balasore in Odisha, India.<br /><br />The local villagers spotted the wild bear inside the well and alerted the local forest department. <br /><br />A team of officials rushed to the spot and managed to bring up the animal after a four-hour rescue operation.<br /><br />Officials said the bear had strayed away from the Swarnachuda jungle in search of food. “We will release it back in the jungle after a medical checkup,” said an official.
