Try it at home and share your feedback in the comments below.<br /><br />Ingredients:<br />1 tbsp Split Green gram, soaked<br />1 tbsp Split Bengal gram, soaked<br />1 tbsp Split Red gram, soaked<br />3-4 tbsp Oil<br />3-4 Onions, paste<br />1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste<br />2 Bay leaf<br />7-8 Cloves<br />7-8 Black Peppercorns<br />4 Cardamom pods<br />1 tbsp Coriander seed powder<br />1 tsp Cumin seed powder<br />1 tsp Garam Masala<br />2 tsp Turmeric powder<br />1/2 kg Chicken<br />Salt<br />3-4 cups Water<br />7-8 Green Chillies, slit<br /><br />Method:<br />Cook all the dals in a pressure cooker and let it turn into a paste-like consistency.<br />Heat oil in a pan, add onion paste, saute it until it turns slightly pink.<br />Add ginger-garlic paste, bay leaf, cloves, cardamom and mix them well.<br />Add coriander seed powder, cumin seed powder, garam masala, turmeric powder and mix them well.<br />Add chicken, cooked dals, salt and mix well.<br />Add water, mix well, cover it with lid and let it cook for 20-25 minutes.<br />Add green chillies, cover it with lid and let it cook for 5 minutes.<br />Our Kolhapuri Pivla Rassa is ready to serve.
