Amid the emergency fine dust measures, the PM has called on local governments and institutions to do more to respond to the issue.<br />Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon during a weekly Cabinet meeting on Tuesday urged all local governments and institutions to check how they are responding to the serious issue of fine dust.<br />He said air pollution is not just a problem for the environment ministry, but for everyone and called for an all-out response to the issue from other ministries, asking the education minister to check the students at schools, and the labor and transport ministers to look around construction sites.<br />Quoting the environment ministry, PM Lee said the ultra fine dust hovers around longer due to the stagnant atmosphere and the inflow of fine dust from China. <br />
