I'm in Mexico City with Formula E! My day gets started at the circuit with a hot lap on board a heavily modified BMW i8 Safety Car before taking in the entire day and experience attending a dramatic race in the sunshine.

Almost immediately upon arrival, it's into the BMW i8 Safety Car with Bruno Correia to get a feel for the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. It's no standard i8 given it features a fixed carbon fibre wing, replacement rear deck cover, fixed cage and harnesses inside, and upgraded suspension components with a tighter steering ratio - but certainly quite fun on the tight twisty circuit found in the centre of Mexico City.

The day itself then gets fully into swing with the first stop being a visit into the pit garages to catch up with Daniel Abt. Next it's over to the E-Race and taking part in a Real Racing 3 e-sports race alongside Formula E drivers including Felipe Massa! Then heading to the Emotion club we can see the cars lining up on the grid before going for the grid walk to take a better look up close. When the race gets underway, the drama quickly starts and I certainly wasn't expecting to see quite so much intriguing racing with a red flag, and change in the leader on the final corner of the race before Lucas di Grassi takes the chequered flag.

For all the live updates and highlights from Formula E, but sure to follow on their pages:
Instagram: https://bit.ly/2u0vy0f
YouTube: http://bit.ly/2JLGyDb
Merchandise: https://bit.ly/2FstrqH

Thanks for watching, Tim

Subscribe: http://bit.ly/Shmee150YT
Website: http://www.shmee150.com
Shop: http://shop.shmee150.com
Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/shmee150
Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/shmee150
