West's contract, via court documents Yeezy is citing California <br />Labor Code section 2855, which is the same law that gave 'Gone with the Wind' actress Olivia de Havilland her freedom <br />from Warner Bros. in the 1940s. West's complaint, <br />via court records West also seeks to be declared the owner of his own works. However, under the contract <br />termination rules, 35 years must pass before <br />an author can reclaim rights to their work. EMI is attempting to <br />dispute the claims.
