Czech man mauled to death by lion he kept in his backyard<br />Michal Prasek’s body was found inside the animal's homemade cage by his father, according to BBC, who told local media it had been locked from inside.<br /><br />Prasek owned a pair of lions that he kept for breeding purposes although he didn’t have the required permits, local media reported. Police shot both animals in order to get to Prasek.<br /><br />The 33-year-old caused a stir in his village when he bought the male lion from Slovakia in 2016, according to Reuters.
