Watch & learn how to make it at home and do let us know your feedback in the comments below.<br /><br />Ingredients:<br />1kg Chicken<br />1 tbsp Ginger paste<br />1 tsp Garlic paste<br />1/2 cup Curd<br />Salt<br />1 1/2 tbsp Oil<br />1/2 inch Cinnamon stick<br />1 Mace<br />1 tbsp Coriander seeds<br />2 tsp Cumin seeds<br />5 Cloves<br />5 Black Pepper<br />5 White Pepper<br />5 Green Cardamom<br />1/4 cup Cashew nuts<br />3 Onions<br />2 tbsp Ghee<br />2 Bay leaf<br />5 Green Chillies, slit<br />1/4 tsp White Pepper powder<br />1 cup Water<br />1/4 cup Cream<br /><br />Method of preparation:<br />In a bowl of chicken, add ginger paste, garlic paste, curd, salt, mix well and keep it aside to marinate.<br />Heat a vessel, add oil, cinnamon, mace, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, cloves, black pepper, white pepper, green cardamom, black cardamom, cashew nuts and saute them on medium flame.<br />Add onions, saute it until they turn soft.<br />Once the mixture cools down, grind them into a fine paste.<br />Add water to the mixture while grinding.<br />Heat a vessel, add ghee, bay leaf, ground paste and saute it for 2 mins.<br />Add green chillies and saute it for 3-4 minutes.<br />Add the marinated chicken, turn the flame on high and saute it for 5 minutes.<br />Add white pepper powder, saute it for a minute and add water.<br />Close the lid and let it cook for 12-15 minutes.<br />Turn the flame on low, add cream, mix well and switch off the flame.<br />Our Malai Chicken is ready to plate.
