Marvel Is Casting Its<br />First Openly Gay Superhero Marvel Studios President <br />Kevin Feige has hinted that <br />a new LGBTQ character <br />might join the MCU. According to <br />That Hashtag Show, <br />Marvel has begun its <br />search for an openly gay actor to play the lead role <br />in 2020s, The Eternals. The studio is said to be <br />searching for an actor who <br />"physically looks like a <br />superhero," aged 30-49 . While there is no preference <br />over ethnicity, the studio <br />prefers to cast a gay actor. The film is scheduled <br />to begin shooting in <br />the UK in September.
