South Korea is expanding its use of hydrogen energy in its efforts to become more eco-friendly.<br />The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on Thursday that it plans to have 2-thousand hydrogen fuel-cell electric buses running in the country's major cities by 2022. <br />This year, the government is looking to replace 35 buses with fuel cell electric vehicles by providing management subsidies to bus companies. <br />The government is also looking into creating hydrogen-fueled buildings that can produce their own hydrogen and contain hydrogen charging facilities. <br />
