2017-02-21 – 2017-02-28 <br /><br />And what an adventure?!<br />I found a cheap place to sleep between the expensive hotels of Tenerife,<br />only finding an empty rocky terrain with some rocks that looked like a cave fit for homeless people.<br /><br />Would this be the first time someone tricked me booking my bed?<br /><br />I prepare for the worst.<br /><br />Asking around, none of the people using this address, nor the neighbours, seem to know this "hostel"<br />After sending a message without result, using the Wifi of a bar nearby, <br />my phone is about to die, at the entrance of an apartment complex.<br /><br />Then suddenly my host, pops up out of nowhere, introducing himself.<br />It seems to be an Italian, making his living by, not completely legally,renting out beds in his own rented apartment.<br />I'm more than happy, not to be sleeping in the cave though, enjoying his passion of being a perfect host. <br /><br />I decide to help him to build another bunk bed he just bought, sharing my space with 9 other Italians, <br />all speaking amazingly well English.<br /><br />Having great conversations with all them.<br /><br />Always a pleasure if these kind of adventures turn out well :-)<br /><br />Would the risk of being tricked in situations like these, keep you from booking cheap travel opportunities?<br /><br />Let's share: <br />Traveling the world without depending on money, enjoying free pleasures worldwide. <br /><br />https://fpww.nl
