R. Kelly Claims Unpaid Child Support <br />Was Ex-Wife's Fault Kelly recently landed himself <br />in jail for unpaid child support <br />totaling over $160,000. According to TMZ, the singer was released <br />after a "benefactor" paid what was owed <br />to his ex-wife, Andrea Kelly. Kelly claims he stopped paying <br />child support because Andrea turned <br />their children against him. Andrea says the checks stopped <br />coming in after she publicly <br />accused Kelly of abusing her. According to TMZ, she views it as <br />his way of controlling her. Andrea was also open to Kelly having a relationship with the kids but claims to not have heard from him since 2017. Upon leaving jail Saturday, <br />Kelly told fans, "we're gonna <br />straighten all this out."
