Pakatan Harapan chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the selection of Dr S Streram as the candidate for the Rantau by-election was based on principles.<br /><br />He said so long as one is not made a bankrupt, one can stand as a candidate.<br />He was asked on some loan issues being tied to Dr Streram.
