Do give it a try and share your feedback in the comments below.<br /><br /><br />Ingredients:<br />1 tbsp Ghee<br />1 tsp Cumin seeds<br />1 inch Cinnamon stick<br />1 Bay leaf<br />1/4 tsp Asafoetida<br />1 tsp Ginger paste<br />1 Onion<br />1 Potato<br />Salt<br />1 cup Spinach, chopped<br />2 Tomatoes, chopped<br />1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder<br />1/2 tsp Garam Masala powder<br />1/4 tsp Cumin seed powder<br />1/2 tsp Raw Mango powder<br />2 Green Chillies, chopped<br />1/2 cup Brown Chickpeas (soaked&cooked)<br />3 cups Rice, boiled<br />1 tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped<br />8-10 Mint Leaves<br /><br />Method of preparation:<br />In a vessel, heat ghee, add cumin seeds, cinnamon, bay leaf, once the cumin seeds splutter add asafoetida.<br />Add ginger paste, onion, potato, salt, spinach, tomatoes, mix well and add water.<br />Cover it with lid and let it simmer on low flame till the potatoes cook.<br />Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, cumin seed powder, raw mango powder, green chillies, brown chickpeas, rice and mix well.<br />Add salt, coriander leaves, mint leaves, give it a final stir, add water, cover it and let it simmer.<br />Our Chana Pulao is ready to serve.<br />
