Rep. Joe Cunningham used an air-horn in a hearing to highlight how disruptive seismic air gun testing is for marine life. <br /><br />He went on to explain a seismic air gun is 16,000 times louder and can go on every 10 seconds 'for days, weeks, months.' <br /><br />Cunningham put questions to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration which has given five companies the right to conduct seismic air gun testing.
