Forest officials rescued a deer from drowning in a 50-foot deep well near Vaiyampatti village in southern India.<br /><br />Villagers found the animal struggling to stay afloat in the well and alerted forest officials, who reached the spot. <br /><br />Footage captured on March 10 shows the rescuers pulling the deer out of the well with the help of ropes.<br /><br />The animal was examined by a veterinarian and later released in a forest nearby.
