문 대통령 "'미세먼지 범사회적 기구' 바른미래 제안 적극 수용"<br /><br />President Moon ordered the formation of a pan-national organization to solve the fine dust crisis.<br />According to Cheongwadae spokesperson Kim Eui-kyeom, the top office will look into whether ex UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon would be able to head that organization.<br />The plan was first proposed by Sohn Hak-kyu, chairman of the opposition Bareunmirae Party, who also recommended Ban for that task.<br />Sohn pointed out the former UN chief has the diplomatic expertise to discuss and mediate fine dust issues with neighboring countries such as China.<br />Kim Eui-kyeom also mentioned the administration will examine how to establish the relationship between the existing special committee on fine dust and the proposed pan-national organization.
