A huge blackout in Venezuela has left hundreds without power and many homes without running water.<br /><br />Footage captured shows people using buckets to collect water from the river Guaire in Caracas on March 11.<br /><br />Venezuelan officials said the blackouts have eased in some areas but most of the water pumps have been out of service without power.<br /><br />''Venezuelans who have electricity in their homes do not have water because there is no capacity to pump the liquid to reach different areas of Caracas,'' the filmer explained.<br /><br />Venezuelan President Maduro blamed the US for the blackout and said that the recovery of the power will come ''little by little''. <br /><br />Meanwhile, thousands took to the streets in Venezuela to protest against Maduro yesterday (March 12).
