Top U.S. diplomats are meeting with key UN officials back-to-back to discuss North Korea sanctions.<br />Washington's Special Representative for North Korea, Stephen Biegun, is traveling to New York on Thursday... to meet with the UN Security Council and key Permanent Representatives.<br />The U.S. State Department says Biegun will discuss the recent North Korea-U.S. summit and efforts to ensure the full implementation of UN resolutions until North Korea's final and fully verified denuclearization.<br />Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Wednesday and discussed the denuclearization issue.<br />The meetings come after a UN panel report said North Korea is still violating sanctions and engaging in illegal ship-to-ship transfers of petroleum and coal. <br />
