Rohingya activist Sharifah Shakirah Husain was honoured at a reception held at the US Ambassador's residence in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, as a nominee for the US Department of State’s International Women of Courage award.<br /><br />Sharifah, 25, founded the Rohingya Women’s Development Network (RWDN), the first Rohingya women’s group in Malaysia, in December 2016.
