Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said the government will need to hold a meeting before it could declare a state of emergency in Pasir Gudang after a suspected chemical leak last week left more than 200 people seeking medical attention for poisoning.<br /><br />Earlier today, Pasir Gudang MP Hassan Abdul Karim urged the Dewan Rakyat to debate the issue as an emergency motion.<br /><br />A majority of those being treated are children and teachers.
