This is the terrifying moment a scooter driver smacked his head on the prongs of a forklift and was knocked down onto the ground.<br /><br />In the CCTV video, shot in Suzhou City in eastern China’s Jiangsu Province on March 12, a scooter driver is driving along a road when he suddenly bumps his head onto the prongs on a forklift parked on the roadside. He can then be seen leaning back and falling down onto the ground.<br /><br />Thanks to the helmet, the scooter driver only suffered skin trauma and he was not in a life-threatening condition.<br /><br />According to reports, more than 70% of scooter drivers who died in accidents were caused by head injuries in Shanghai in 2017. <br /><br />However despite this, the percentage of helmet usage on drivers was 12.5% and only 2.0% on passengers.
