A viral video showing hundreds of floating dead fish allegedly due to pollution in Pasir Gudang is fake according to the Fisheries Department.<br /><br />A spokesperson told Malaysiakini that no incident such as the one portrayed in the video had occurred anywhere in Pasir Gudang.<br /><br />Suspected chemical waste dumping at Sungai Kim Kim has caused toxic pollution in the area.<br /><br />Hundreds have had to seek medical treatment, while all schools in the area have been closed.
