Londoners turned out in numbers for the St Patrick's Day parade today (March 17) as groups from many different backgrounds turned out for the Irish celebration. <br /><br />Thousands lined the streets from Piccadilly to Trafalgar Square where speeches were made, and a show with music and dance was given to the packed crowds in the square to celebrate St Patrick's Day. <br /><br />Northern Irish actress Bronagh Waugh joined the London-Irish Abortion Rights Campaign, which marched to promote women's choice, while London Mayor Sadiq Khan also made an appearance.
